We are currently partnering with a high-growth, AI services organization on an opportunity for a Director of Accounting to lead and strengthen its accounting function. This is a hands-on leadership role with meaningful ownership of the close, general ledger, consolidations, technical accounting, controls, and audit readiness across a growing, multi-entity organization.

Reporting to senior Finance leadership, this individual will have the opportunity to improve existing processes while building out a scalable accounting infrastructure that can support continued growth. They will lead external audit preparation, oversee and develop accounting team members, partner closely with leaders across Finance and the broader organization, and play an important role in software optimization, systems integration, and the accounting integration of future acquisitions.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant controllership, close, consolidation, and team leadership responsibilities. Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise, experience improving accounting processes and internal controls, and a track record of operating successfully in complex multi-entity environments are important for success. Experience with acquisition integration or purchase accounting, international or multi-currency accounting, technology or services businesses, and public accounting or other highly structured accounting environments is preferred.
