Beacon Hill is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a growing organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, biweekly, or semimonthly payroll for employees
- Maintain and update employee payroll records
- Review timesheets and payroll data for accuracy
- Handle payroll deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings
- Respond to employee payroll-related questions
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, UKG, Workday, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
