Job Title: Program Benefits Specialist

Location: Noble, OK

Type: Contract to hire, with a chance of permanent conversion

Pay: $16-19/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview:

Our Beacon Hill OKC Finance team is looking for a Program Benefits Specialist to assist with daily operations, staff support, benefits-related inquiries, compliance monitoring, and reporting.

This full-time, on-site contract-to-hire position requires an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, within the 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. window. After the initial onboarding period, there is a potential for hybrid work arrangements.

(Candidates must be available to work full-time without any absences during the first 90 days of employment due to mandatory training.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle escalated customer calls and assist frontline staff in resolving complex service, financial, and benefits-related issues
  • Provide guidance and support regarding program services, eligibility questions, and benefit processes
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures
  • Mentor and support staff by answering questions and providing operational guidance
  • Assist supervisors with creating and maintaining trackers, reports, and training completion logs
  • Monitor attendance and provide operational support to maintain workflow coverage
  • Research applicable state and federal policies to ensure program and benefits compliance
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Participate in team meetings, workgroups, and process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry, tracking systems, dual-monitor setups, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong customer service orientation and empathetic communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
  • Pending employment is contingent upon meeting the company’s health and safety compliance requirements
