Pay Range: $30-$40/hour, depending on experience and skill
Overview
Our Beacon Hill Oklahoma City office is working with a client who is looking for a strong Accountant.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing environment focused on quality, innovation, and operational excellence. The Accountant will work closely with senior finance leadership and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting reporting processes, and assisting with overall accounting operations.
This is a full-time, on-site position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post both standard and adjusting journal entries
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain account accuracy
- Complete daily cash and bank reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and departmental reports
- Support fixed asset tracking and accounting
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor project-related financial activity and progress tracking
- Prepare and assist with business-related tax filings
- Review outstanding payables to ensure proper coding and completeness
- Provide general administrative and accounting support to leadership as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including full-cycle responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required. CPA or CMA is a plus but not required
- Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Advanced Excel), and ERP Systems (i.e., Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Sage Intacct/AS400, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
