Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: on-site, Fort Worth, Texas

Employment Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00-20.00/hour, depending on experience and skill set

Position Overview: We are working with a client in the Fort Worth, TX market that is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support high-volume accounting and financial operations.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, handling large transaction volumes, conducting research, and collaborating within a large team setting.

This position is on-site, with a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume financial transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Perform account reconciliations related to payment allocations, refunds, and account corrections
  • Review and process vendor invoices and lease citations
  • Assist with payment processing and charge-off activities
  • Research account discrepancies and resolve issues through internal systems
  • Review customer correspondence and prepare outgoing communications
  • Conduct detailed account research, which may include outbound phone calls
  • Support account modifications and documentation requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain accuracy while managing large workloads and competing priorities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of accounting clerk work experience, specifically in accounts receivable, banking, accounting administration, and financial services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
