Accountant – Boston, MA
Our client, a growing professional services organization, is seeking an Accountant on an interim basis to support their finance team. This open-ended contract offers a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite per week and the potential to convert to a permanent role in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Record journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and support monthly and quarterly close.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Support financial reporting and other ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
