Staff Accountant – Norwell, MA
Our client, a professional services firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support tax compliance and reporting efforts during a high-volume period. This role involves preparing various tax filings, assisting with client-related financial data, and supporting broader accounting functions.
- Prepare and file individual and business tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Assist with specialized tax filings, including trust and related reporting
- Gather and review client financial information to support accurate filings
- Provide general bookkeeping support, including account review and data entry
- Collaborate with team members on tax and accounting-related projects
- Support additional accounting functions as needed during peak periods
- 1-3+ years of tax or public accounting experience with at least two busy seasons
- Experience preparing Forms 1065 and 1040
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
