Our client, a well-established organization within the insurance and financial services industry, is seeking a Billing Specialist to support billing operations, payment processing, and customer account management. This role focuses on ensuring accurate account transactions, responding to billing-related inquiries, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Process billing-related transactions and maintain accurate account records
- Review and update customer account information within internal systems
- Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding billing matters
- Support payment processing and reconciliation activities
- Monitor account activity and perform research to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain documentation and ensure records are organized and up to date
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to departmental initiatives
- Provide general support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications
- 6+ months of billing experience required
- Customer service experience required
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems preferred
