Accounts Receivable Specialist

This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day AR functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and apply customer payments, including checks, ACH, and other forms of payment
• Review and enter credits, adjustments, and account corrections as needed
• Generate and distribute customer invoices, statements, and billing documentation
• Upload invoices and supporting documents into customer billing portals when required
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
• Assist with cash application, account reconciliations, and aging reports
• Support month-end close processes related to accounts receivable
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely collections

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or related business field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Customer service mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with billing systems or customer invoicing platforms
• Prior experience handling customer accounts and resolving payment issues
