Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Contract Part-Time Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team in New York. This is a high-impact, hands-on role supporting a busy hiring function during a maternity leave coverage period. The recruiter will focus on full-cycle recruitment for associate-level attorney roles, playing a key role in building talent pipelines and driving hiring efforts in a fast-paced, professional services environment. This position will partner closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and partners, to manage candidate flow and ensure a seamless recruitment process. The ideal candidate will bring strong sourcing capabilities, experience recruiting in legal or professional services environments, and the polish and confidence to interact with senior-level stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented recruiter who enjoys both execution and relationship-building, with the potential for extension or conversion based on business needs. - Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within legal services or a professional services environment.
- Prior experience using Workday required.
- Strong sourcing experience with the ability to proactively build pipelines and network for hard-to-fill roles.
- Experience recruiting for professional, client-facing roles (e.g., attorneys or similar) preferred.
- Proven ability to interact with senior stakeholders, including partners, with a high level of professionalism and confidence.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work onsite in NYC 2-3 days per week.
The pay for this role is $45-$60/hour.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
