Role Overview

The HR Operations Coordinator provides operational and functional support to the HR Operations team, ensuring a high level of internal and external customer service. This role supports centralized Talent Acquisition and employee lifecycle processes, partnering closely with HR, recruiting, and business stakeholders.

The position is execution‑focused and supports established HR processes related to onboarding, interview coordination, employee data maintenance, compliance activities, and HR inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

HR & Talent Acquisition Operations

  • Support employee‑facing and new‑hire HR processes, including onboarding and interview scheduling
  • Assist with employment offers, background checks, and termination processing
  • Respond to HR inquiries through inbox or case management systems, independently resolving issues when possible or escalating as needed

Data & Systems Support

  • Perform accurate data entry and transactional updates in HR systems
  • Proactively audit systems to ensure integrity of candidate and employee data
  • Maintain employee files, records retention, and agreement tracking

Process & Project Support

  • Participate in HR initiatives and project work as needed
  • Follow defined HR procedures while adapting to new or updated processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency within established frameworks

Compliance & Confidentiality

  • Handle confidential employee and candidate data with care and discretion
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Support quality and compliance programs as defined by HR leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
    OR Associate degree / High School Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience
  • General understanding of Human Resources fundamentals and business processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Workday or another applicant tracking system
  • Prior experience in HR, recruiting, or HR Operations
  • Experience supporting teams in a fast‑paced business environment
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum frameworks
  • 1+ year of experience supporting HR or Talent Acquisition functions
