About the Opportunity

Our client, a respected law firm, is seeking a Junior Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career paralegal looking to gain hands-on experience in all phases of litigation while working closely with experienced attorneys and senior legal professionals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with litigation matters from case inception through trial.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and electronic case files.
  • Draft routine correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Coordinate court filings, service of process, and document management.
  • Manage litigation calendars and track court deadlines, hearings, and depositions.
  • Organize, review, and summarize records, discovery materials, and case documents.
  • Conduct factual research and assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness files, and trial binders.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, vendors, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of litigation paralegal, legal assistant, or related legal experience.
  • Knowledge of state and federal court procedures is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with e-filing, legal research platforms, or document management systems is a plus
