Litigation Paralegal

A well‑established plaintiff‑side personal injury law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of personal injury cases, from initial intake through trial or settlement. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing a high‑volume caseload in a fast‑paced litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with all aspects of personal injury litigation, including pre‑suit and active litigation matters
• Draft, review, and assist with pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Manage case files, calendaring, deadlines, and litigation schedules
• Coordinate records requests, including medical records, billing, employment, and expert materials
• Assist with case investigation, including summarizing medical records, police reports, and discovery responses
• Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, experts, courts, and opposing counsel
• Prepare and organize materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
• Assist with file organization, document management, and e‑filing in state and/or federal courts
• Track case status and support attorneys with settlement preparation and trial preparation as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in plaintiff personal injury (auto, premises liability, catastrophic injury, etc.)
• Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and deadlines
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Paralegal certificate or relevant education preferred (but not always required with experience)
