Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an Intellectual Property (IP) Assistant for a 12-week temporary assignment with a Boston law firm.
This role will support a busy Life Sciences practice and assist with patent prosecution, USPTO filings, docket management, IDS preparation, prior art tracking, and attorney support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of law firm, intellectual property, patent prosecution, or legal support experience preferred
- Experience with USPTO filings and patent prosecution support
- Strong docketing, calendaring, and deadline management skills
- Experience preparing Information Disclosure Statements (IDS), prior art lists, and related patent documentation preferred
- Ability to manage domestic and foreign patent matters and maintain accurate case data
