An Am Law 100 law firm is seeking an Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Associate with 2-5+ years of experience for its Chicago, Nashville, or Wisconsin offices
Qualified candidates should have experience advising on employee benefits compliance and regulatory matters, including the interpretation and application of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related agency guidance. Experience counseling clients on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, plan administration, and ongoing compliance obligations is required. Candidates should also have experience supporting corporate transactions involving employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative environment. Strong academic credentials are required. Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and be locally licensed or eligible to be licensed. Relocation candidates will be considered!
Salary range: $240,000-$350,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
