Beacon Hill is hiring a Temporary Paralegal for an immediate coverage assignment with a well-established law firm in Hamilton, NJ. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity expected to last approximately 3-5 months. The ideal candidate will have prior plaintiff personal injury experience and be comfortable managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support a team of six attorneys, with primary responsibility supporting 1-2 attorneys
- Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 80-90 plaintiff personal injury matters
- Draft, prepare, and organize legal documents and case files
- Coordinate medical records, discovery responses, and case-related documentation
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
- Track deadlines and assist with case management throughout the litigation process
- Provide general administrative and paralegal support as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff personal injury experience required
- Must possess an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Paralegal Certificate
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage a high-volume caseload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
