Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current ARDMS credential in Abdomen and/or OB-GYN (Vascular credential preferred).
- Minimum four years of experience as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer, including at least two years in clinical diagnostic care.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, program administration, and educational assessment.
Job Duties
- Lead the administration, planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for program growth, effectiveness, and compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, assess, and revise curriculum, program outcomes, and student learning outcomes in collaboration with faculty.
- Oversee course offerings and support a technology-enhanced learning environment, including digital learning tools and student support resources.
- Monitor and evaluate didactic, laboratory, and clinical components to ensure program quality and student success.
- Support student recruitment efforts, participate in committee assignments, and foster relationships with prospective students and community partners.
- Serve as a liaison with healthcare facilities to maintain and strengthen clinical education partnerships.
Additional Information
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday 9:00a – 5:00p EST
- Compensation: Up to $150,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and credentials.
- Preferred Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and relationship-building abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
