Product Manager – Software Applications
We are seeking a Product Manager to own and drive software application delivery for finance-focused business workflows. This role is ideal for someone with strong software product management experience, the confidence to work with senior stakeholders, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear product direction.
Must Haves
- Hands-on product management experience owning and delivering software products, not just managing projects or gathering requirements.
- Experience with web-based or desktop applications and a strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Ability to work closely with engineering, business, finance, and executive stakeholders to define product priorities and drive delivery.
- Strong understanding of production workflows, production finance, or finance-heavy business processes.
- Comfortable working with financial terminology, reporting needs, and data-driven business applications.
- Strong communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to confidently push back, influence decisions, and advocate for the product.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap priorities, and delivery for software applications supporting finance and production-related workflows.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, define product requirements, and turn them into actionable features.
- Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure successful execution.
- Drive alignment across business, technology, and leadership teams while making clear product decisions.
- Evaluate reporting, data, and workflow needs to improve usability, efficiency, and business value.
Nice to Have
- Background as a software engineer before moving into product management.
- Experience in media, entertainment, studio operations, or production finance environments.
- Exposure to BI or reporting tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar platforms.
- Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with databases, reporting systems, or data concepts.
