Data Warehouse Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Type: Contract
Duration: Long Term, Open Ended

*Candidates MUST have Alteryx experience related to ETL, not just Alteryx experience based in data prep. Candidates will be required to write complex SQL queries with Alteryx.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to support enterprise data initiatives focused on building, enhancing, and maintaining data integration and data warehouse solutions. This role will contribute to a collaborative, agile team responsible for delivering reliable, high‑quality data to support analytics and business decision‑making.
The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining ETL pipelines and working with large, complex datasets in a data warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Gather and translate business and technical requirements into detailed ETL technical specifications
* Design, develop, test, and debug ETL workflows using enterprise ETL tools
* Build and maintain data pipelines supporting incremental, full/history, and survivorship‑based data loads
* Implement and support Change Data Capture (CDC) processes
* Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL used for data transformations and integrations
* Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL jobs and data workflows
* Load and manage data warehouse structures to support reporting and analytics
* Collaborate with team members in an agile development environment
* Contribute to data quality, reliability, and performance improvements

Required Skills & Experience
* 6+ years of experience gathering requirements and developing ETL technical specifications
* 6+ years of experience designing and developing ETL jobs
○ Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Alteryx
* 6+ years of experience developing data loads (incremental, full/history, survivorship rules)
* 4+ years of experience implementing Change Data Capture (CDC)
* 6+ years of experience testing and debugging ETL processes
* 6+ years of experience developing complex SQL
* 2+ years of experience with ETL job scheduling
* 2+ years of experience loading data warehouses using ETL tools

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
* Experience working with multiple ETL tools
* Experience with data quality tools and frameworks
* Experience using source control/version control tools (e.g., Git)
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
