Duration: 6+ Months
Location: HYBRID in Madison PREFERRED- OPEN to REMOTE

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional IT initiatives supporting enterprise systems, with a strong emphasis on healthcare workflows and Epic-related integrations.
This role will focus on internal projects that intersect with Epic and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including patient access, billing, revenue cycle, and downstream financial/reporting systems. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical project delivery, healthcare domain knowledge, and business process alignment to ensure initiatives drive measurable operational and financial outcomes.
This individual will partner closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver projects that align with enterprise priorities, particularly across revenue cycle optimization, system integrations, and process standardization efforts.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional IT and business transformation initiatives, including Epic-adjacent and revenue cycle projects
* Drive execution across Order-to-Cash workflows, including areas such as patient registration, coding, billing, claims, reimbursements, and reporting/analytics
* Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, align priorities, and ensure solutions support end-to-end revenue cycle performance
* Manage all aspects of project delivery including scope, timelines, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies
* Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors on system implementations and integrations (e.g., Epic, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms)
* Facilitate SDLC and Agile-based delivery models, ensuring alignment between product, engineering, and business teams
* Lead UAT planning and execution, ensuring business readiness and successful adoption of new systems and processes
* Identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues as needed, and maintain transparency through regular stakeholder communication
* Drive governance, reporting, and executive-level updates on project status, risks, and outcomes
* Support process improvement initiatives using tools such as process mapping, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis
* Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and aligning initiatives to business value

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience
* 5+ years of progressive project management experience (mid to senior level)
* 3+ years leading cross-functional, client-facing or stakeholder-heavy projects
* Experience delivering IT projects within healthcare or healthcare-adjacent environments
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC)
* Experience managing enterprise software implementations and integrations
* Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred / Desired Experience
* Experience working with Epic systems (direct or adjacent), particularly within Revenue Cycle modules (e.g., Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, etc.)
* Familiarity with Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes in a healthcare setting, including billing, claims, and reimbursement workflows
* Exposure to revenue cycle optimization, financial systems, or healthcare operations transformation initiatives
* Experience with ServiceNow or other enterprise workflow/tools platforms
* Background in product-driven environments or product-based delivery models
* Strong facilitation skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Why This Role is Compelling
* High-impact work supporting core revenue-generating processes
* Exposure to enterprise healthcare systems and strategic initiatives
* Opportunity to influence end-to-end process improvements, not just project execution
* Potential for long-term engagement or conversion
