Job Summary
Beacon Hill is partnering with a mission‑driven nonprofit organization to identify a Staff Accountant for a temporary contract assignment. This role will focus on grant and contract billing and support budget development for renewals and proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit grant and contract billings in compliance with funder requirements
- Track and reconcile grant revenues and expenses
- Prepare financial reports and budget‑to‑actual analyses for funders
- Support development of budgets for grant proposals, renewals, and amendments
- Assist with grant closeouts, renewals, and audit requests
- Collaborate with program and finance teams on financial data and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience; nonprofit or grant accounting preferred
- Experience with grant/contract billing and budgeting
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
