A leading real estate investment and property management company is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role offers strong visibility, career growth, and the opportunity to work closely with operations and finance leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support budgeting, audits, tax reporting, and lender compliance
- Partner with property management and cross-functional teams
- Assist with process improvements and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong GAAP, month-end close, and reconciliation experience
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset
Preferred
- Real estate or property accounting experience
- Public accounting background
- Experience managing multiple entities or property portfolios
