About the Role

Will design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security frameworks. Implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external and internal systems, utilizing JSON for efficient data interchange. Write reusable and maintainable code using best practices in Java, Python, Groovy, and Go, ensuring effective integration across multiple languages where applicable. Design and develop sub-components of larger application systems and integrate applications to optimize system structure for improved stability and performance. Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for continuous integration and deployment, automate build, test, and deployment processes for rapid and reliable software delivery. Develop automation scripts using Shell scripting, Python to streamline operational tasks, facilitate system integrations, and enhance productivity across the software development lifecycle. Package applications using Docker containers for consistent deployment across environments. Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters, optimizing for performance, reliability, and resource utilization. Utilize Helm charts for efficient management of Kubernetes deployments, ensuring consistency and scalability across production and staging environments. Apply DevOps principles to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management, leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure environment consistency and streamline deployment workflows. Integrate and manage Software Security Scanning tools (SAST/SCA) such as Mend and Snyk to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in code and dependencies, ensuring compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular code quality checks using SonarQube to identify code smells, technical debt, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Set up and utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk and DataDog to track application and infrastructure health. Analyze logs, configure alerts, and respond to incidents to ensure system reliability and rapid issue resolution. Monitor and optimize cloud services by implementing cost-effective solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a closely related field, and one year of experience, pre or post Master’s Degree, in the Software Industry.
