Will design and develop enterprise-scale digital platform features using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Apache Tomcat, Maven, and RESTful microservices, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Implement complex backend services and integration workflows leveraging Java EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Apache Camel, improving system interoperability and reducing integration latency. Build and optimize rich client-side applications using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, delivering responsive, accessible (WCAG-compliant), and high-performing user experiences. Conduct detailed code reviews, guiding design decisions, and establishing coding standards across Java, Angular, and DevOps workflows. Champion secure development practices, implementing standardized logging (Logback, SLF4J), input validation, authentication flows, and integration with enterprise security patterns. Improve test automation and coverage by designing robust JUnit, Jasmine, and Karma test suites, reducing regression issues and improving release stability. Containerize Spring Boot applications using Docker, collaborated with cloud engineers to deploy and monitor workloads on AWS, and utilized AWS console services for environment management. Troubleshoot complex production incidents using log analytics, performance profiling, and monitoring tools, driving long-term fixes and stability improvements across digital platforms. Partner with product owners and non-technical stakeholders to translate high-level business goals into scalable engineering solutions and actionable implementation plans. Advocate for modern engineering approaches—API-first design, modular architecture, accessibility standards, and continuous delivery—resulting in cleaner, maintainable, and future-ready systems. Integrate emerging technologies and architectural improvements to reduce technical debt, enhance platform resilience, and modernize legacy components across the digital ecosystem.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

Requirements:

Position requires a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
