IAM Security Specialist

Location: Hybrid Wayne, PA
Duration: 6+ month contract
The IAM Security Specialist will support day-to-day Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities, including provisioning and deprovisioning system access, processing access requests, and conducting user access recertifications. This role will also support role-based access administration, maintain access templates, and participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provision user access based on approved service desk requests.
- Obtain appropriate role owner approvals for system access.
- Revoke system access as requested.
- Perform periodic user access recertifications, including defining scope and running certification campaigns.
- Distribute access recertification materials to reviewers and track responses through completion.
- Maintain and update templated system access.
- Support Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) activities.
- Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience working in Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, application security, or a related area.
- Ability to follow established processes for user access administration.
- Understanding of application security concepts.
- Knowledge or experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical topics, issues, and potential solutions clearly to others.
- Bachelor’s degree with related experience.
