Our client in Coventry RI is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician for a 6+ month contract role working 100% onsite. The are seeking an experienced resource to build, test, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical assemblies into robotics systems as well as execute detailed subsystem tests.
Rate: $25-36/hr rate
5 days a week onsite M-F
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Electronics experience in robotics, defense, aerospace, avionics, or similar hardware environments.
- Hands-on experience setting up and performing electrical/hardware testing.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and basic electrical engineering principles.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Experience using DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and similar test equipment.
- Experience documenting test results and troubleshooting hardware issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AUVs, UUVs, subsea robotics, or other underwater electrical systems.
- Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDC.
- Cable splicing, potting, wiring, or custom harness fabrication experience.
- Experience with hydrostatic testing, pressure vessels, or pneumatic/hydraulic test systems.
- IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or experience.
- Experience in prototype, low-volume, or high-mix electronics manufacturing.
