Lead Front End Developer (React..js)

Location: Hybrid Philadelphia (2 days/week on site)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of complex front-end applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Build scalable, multi-tenant frontend platforms that support multiple clients, brands, or business units
- Develop and maintain reusable component libraries, design systems, and shared UI frameworks
- Architect and implement efficient API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL) to consume backend services
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless data flow between systems
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness across web and mobile platforms
- Drive frontend best practices, including code quality, testing, accessibility, and performance standards
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance to the team
- Partner with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
- Support CI/CD pipelines and modern build tools for frontend delivery
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of front-end development experience with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Experience building and supporting React Native applications for mobile platforms
- Proven experience designing and implementing multi-tenant frontend architectures
- Strong understanding of API integration patterns
- Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards
