An excellent client of ours located in Wilmington, Delaware is looking for an Accountant to join their team!
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Post credit card deposits and assist with daily cash management
- Remote Check Deposit
- Process monthly real estate checks from six (6) offices
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Run financial reports and A/R reports
Banking & Reconciliations
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Process wires and electronic fund transfers
- Monitor and resolve stale-dated checks
Payroll & Compliance
- Process payroll reports
- Process 401(k) contribution and compliance reporting
- Prepare City of Wilmington Employee Tax Reports
- Complete monthly Gross Receipts Tax filings
- Prepare annual Unclaimed Property reports
- Prepare year-end 1099 reporting
