Overview

The Investor Engagement team plays a critical role in our client’s success by providing continuous support and solutions to the firm’s globally located investors across Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-asset, Alts, and Hedge Funds. There is an opportunity for a motivated Senior Systems Analyst who is proficient in the front and middle office functions of trade lifecycle management to play a key role in this large team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with investment professionals at all levels of the organization as a trusted advisor.
  • Respond to functional, data, and technical questions related to our trade lifecycle management tools from end-users.
  • Troubleshoot issues, determine root cause, and identify appropriate corrective actions for the trade lifecycle management tools.
  • When necessary, manage production bridges to resolve significant systems and data issues.
  • Provide clear verbal and written communication to both end-user and technical audiences and be able to guide both users and developers to solutions.
  • Ensure that service levels within this critical support area are maintained at a high level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance or a related subject.
  • 5+ years business or systems analysis experience in global capital markets.
  • Experience with CRD, Murex or other OMS platforms for real-time portfolio analytics, P&L and exposure is desirable.
  • Experience with SQL is required.
  • In-depth understanding of financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, derivatives and FX.
  • Experience with advanced investment data concepts such as holdings, transactions, security master, analytics, performance, and attribution.
  • Hands-on experience working directly with investment professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to delivering quality, professional work is absolutely essential for this position.
  • Willingness and ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced, business-critical environment.
