Location: This will be on site after hours in Newark, DE

Our client is seeking a part-time IT Support to provide hands-on technical support for an office in Newark, Delaware. This role is focused on physical IT support, office technology projects, and basic network troubleshooting. The position will begin as a 3-month engagement with approximately 120 total hours and has the potential for extension based on business growth.

Position Description:

  • Provide remote and onsite IT support for office technology issues as needed.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other end-user hardware.

  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including internet connectivity issues.

  • Support office technology upgrades and infrastructure improvement projects.

  • Install, connect, and troubleshoot networking equipment shipped from corporate IT.

  • Perform general systems administration and office IT maintenance tasks.

  • Help resolve printing and document scanning issues.

  • Respond to urgent technology issues including tickets and onsite assistance.

  • Work independently to identify and improve technology processes within the office.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in IT support, desktop support, systems administration, or technical field services.

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, printers, and office technology.

  • Familiarity with on-premise networking concepts and equipment.

  • Provide prompt customer support by managing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical support tickets through completion.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel onsite when needed.

  • Junior to mid-level Systems Administrator experience.

  • Experience installing or replacing network switches, routers, or related infrastructure equipment.

  • Field service or onsite technical support experience.
