Location: Hybrid Cherry Hill, NJ (8 days/month in office)
A leading organization is seeking an experienced Director, Enterprise PMO and Transformation to lead project delivery, portfolio governance, and strategic technology initiatives across the business. This individual will play a critical leadership role in driving large-scale transformation efforts, partnering with executive stakeholders, and developing a high-performing PMO organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior PMO leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys driving measurable business outcomes through disciplined project execution.
PMO & Portfolio Leadership
- Lead enterprise-wide IT project and portfolio management practices
- Establish governance, delivery standards, reporting frameworks, and portfolio oversight processes
- Drive annual portfolio planning and technology roadmap development
- Ensure delivery excellence across strategic business and technology initiatives
- Oversee project financials, budgets, resource planning, risks, and compliance
Executive Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Present portfolio health, project status, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Influence business and technology leaders to drive alignment and successful outcomes
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and develop project management professionals
- Lead internal PMO teams, external consultants, and implementation partners
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence
Strategic Project Delivery
- Oversee enterprise implementations, modernization efforts, and transformation programs
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives spanning technology, operations, and business functions
- Drive issue resolution and ensure successful project outcomes
Required Experience
- 8+ years of project, program, or portfolio management leadership experience
- Prior experience supporting pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or complex enterprise environments.
- Experience leading a PMO within a mid-sized to large enterprise organization
- Proven success managing multi-million-dollar technology initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience managing project budgets, governance, and portfolio reporting
- Experience working with external consulting firms, implementation partners, or systems integrators
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching and developing teams
- Knowledge of change management methodologies.
- Experience with project management and portfolio management tools (Jira, Monday.com, etc)
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- PMP Certification preferred
