Tax Administrator
This role will provide clerical and administrative support across the tax function, assisting with processing returns, managing workflow, and supporting client communication. The environment is highly collaborative, and this individual will interact with staff across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with tax return processing (assembly, tracking, and delivery)
- Manage workflow and deadlines to ensure timely completion of engagements
- Support billing, invoicing, and engagement letter preparation
- Communicate with clients via phone and email regarding documentation and status updates
- Maintain organized electronic records and documentation
- Provide general administrative support across the tax team
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a tax or accounting firm environment (administrative or processing)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate with urgency in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
