Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Enterprise Security Architect to play a key role in translating business needs into secure, scalable, and modern enterprise architecture designs while ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles and major compliance frameworks. This role is responsible for developing detailed architectural artifacts, governing solution delivery, and maintaining accountability for security-related design decisions across infrastructure and application domains. The architect will conduct security reviews, identify risks, and partner closely with Cyber Security teams to define mitigation strategies. They will also oversee vulnerability management activities, ensure compliance for systems such as virtual machines, networks, databases, and encryption components, and contribute to long-term technology roadmaps by evaluating emerging technologies and maintaining enterprise architecture standards.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in technology roles, with increasing responsibility across architecture, infrastructure, and security domains.

3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Engineer within a large-scale, complex environment

Experience translating business requirements into enterprise‑level architecture designs that leverage modern, secure, and scalable technologies.

Experience developing high‑level and detailed architectural designs, including network segmentation and overall topology, Virtual machines, cloud services, and hosting strategies, Data flow diagrams, integration designs, and interface mappings, Firewall configurations, and defined security zones

Ability to support long‑term technology planning by contributing to architectural roadmaps and assessing emerging technologies for potential adoption.

Experience ensuring architecture designs align with Zero Trust principles, industry security best practices, and relevant compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF and PCI DSS.

Ability to conduct comprehensive security architecture reviews to identify control gaps, risks, and deficiencies across systems and integrations.

Experience partnering with Cyber Security teams to define effective mitigation strategies, remediation plans, and long‑term risk‑reduction approaches.

Ability to oversee vulnerability management activities, including reviewing results from tools such as Qualys, Orca, and Snyk
