Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, or a similar role , including sprint level testing inclusive of manual and automation testing for enterprise web applications
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., Automation & Continuous Testing, Technical Proficiency, Security & Accessibility Compliance, Analytical Thinking)
- Experience with regression testing
- Strong experience with backend data base validation testing
- Ability to write select statements using SQL and authoring queries – ability to validate data across tables to ensure logging correctly and accurately
- Experience with Python for test automation
- Proven ability to develop and execute automated testing in BDD – Cucumber , Selenium, Playwright
- Experience testing at all tiers of web application, UI, web services / API, and database
- Familiarity with AI – Co-Pilot / Playwright/ or similar tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps , ideally in an Azure environment, and understanding how automated tests
Desired Skills:
- Playwrite or similar tool for test automation
- Java/JavaScript
Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:
Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Web Quality Engineer for an initial 6 month contract. We’re seeking candidates with 2-5 years of experience testing enterprise web applications. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test solutions (manual and automation) that ensure product quality across sprint-level deliveries in an agile environment. We’re seeking candidates who have experience with data integrity testing and ability to author SQL Select Queries for validation. The ideal candidate will have python scripting, BDD, and strong analytical skills as this role will have some data analysis
