Linux System Administrator

Must Haves:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph from the NSA
- 3+ years of Linux Systems Administration (Linux OS) experience preferably with RedHat/RHEL Linux, or SUSE Linux
- Experience with workload management systems, parallel file systems, networking and security
- System/software maintenance experience – problem isolation using debugging tools, performing software builds, OS upgrades, and patch installations
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing/customer support experience
Plusses (NOT required):
- Programming/scripting experience with any of the following: Perl, Python, C-Programming
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Day-to-Day:
- Gather data, perform analysis, and escalate problems when necessary to ensure timely resolution of system and customer issues
- Implement solutions and repairs, including full documentation as required.
- Document troubleshooting techniques, fresh solutions, and utilities to help develop and grow the organization.
- Manage software issues for both the system and user applications
