Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Project Coordinator to support the Construction Business Group across multiple utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, energy storage, and wind. This role provides coordinated administrative, financial, and logistical support to multiple Project Managers and project teams simultaneously, helping ensure consistent execution, accurate reporting, and adherence to Invenergy’s safety, quality, and compliance standards.
The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in enabling Project Managers to focus on execution by managing project controls, documentation, and cross-functional coordination across a dynamic portfolio of active construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support 1 Project Manager across active construction projects, coordinating daily administrative, scheduling, and project control activities.
- Maintain and organize project documentation including contracts, RFIs, change orders, invoices, submittals, meeting minutes, and compliance records.
- Track project milestones, budgets, purchase orders, invoices, forecasts, and vendor spending while ensuring accuracy and contract compliance.
- Coordinate meetings, procurement activities, material deliveries, vendor communication, and long-lead equipment tracking.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, closeout packages, and financing due diligence documentation while maintaining accurate data across project management and financial systems.
- Support safety, quality, and regulatory compliance processes, including inspections, training logs, reporting metrics, and confidential documentation handling.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in construction project coordination, project controls, or administrative support.
- Experience supporting multiple projects or managers concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Oracle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and/or energy storage construction projects.
- Experience with project management and document control systems (ProjectTeam, ProCore or similar)
- Familiarity with construction cost tracking, invoicing, and basic contract administration.
- Experience working with field-based construction teams.
- Understanding of safety and quality documentation in construction environments.
