Our client, a growing real estate investment and property management firm in West Los Angeles, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support the accounting team with accounts payable, invoice processing, and general accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career within a stable and fast-paced real estate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process and enter a high volume of AP invoices accurately and timely
- Match invoices to supporting documentation and assist with coding
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
- Assist with invoice approvals, payment processing, and check runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Partner with property managers and internal departments on billing and payment issues
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience
- Experience processing invoices and supporting AP functions
- Proficiency in Excel
- Real estate or property management experience is a plus
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or similar accounting software is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
