A mid-sized D.C.-based Chambers-ranked business law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level litigation associate to join its growing Washington, D.C. office. The team is consistently busy and offers early, hands-on involvement in substantive matters.
Practice highlights:
- Complex commercial litigation
- Government contracts disputes
- Investigations and white collar matters
- False Claims Act litigation
- Employment, contruction, and real estate disputes
Associates are given meaningful responsibility from the outset, including drafting, case strategy, and direct client exposure, while working closely with experienced, accessible partners in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of litigation experience (law firm experience preferred)
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Interest in sophisticated business disputes
- Active bar admission in DC, MD, and/or VA (FL/CA a plus)
Additional details:
- Hybrid schedule
- 1750 billable hour target
- Compensation: $160,000 – $237,500
