Locations: This roles preferred location is Denver, CO but is also open in St. Louis, MO and Charlotte, NC
Job Description:
Responsibilities will include driving the management of scope, schedule and budget in coordination with IT delivery teams. Candidate must be a self-starter and who can think like an owner and has the ability to learn and understand what makes the business customer tick so that they can anticipate needs and issues. They will be working with limited guidance from an experienced Program or Project Manager who has ultimate accountability. This is a collaborative role, not an administrative role.
These projects are not core infrastructure, network, data center, or designing routers and switches. They’re more tools focused and very heavy ticket focused. An example would be standing up new tools within Palo Alto that they don’t currently have in place.
Daily Responsibilities / Scope of Role and Project:
Manage and control aspects of project delivery (triple constraint: scope, schedule and budget) for large-scale, comprehensive project delivery.
Requirements:
Professional Experiences Required (including yrs. exp): PMP
Practical project management experience for 8+ years strongly preferred; PM experience within IT, network, data center or Infrastructure preferred.
Experience with multiple large-scale project implementations is a must. Software Asset Management, Software Compliance or IT Security a plus. Experience with network and/or data center tools is a plus.

- Competency with PM tools and techniques (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, MS project, etc.)
- Desire to learn and be part of the solution.
Soft Skills Required:
Organization and strong communication (written and verbal) required. Relationship building and critical analysis. Able to quickly navigate a large enterprise and build relationships with multiple teams.
