Principal/Lead Embedded Software Engineer

Location: REMOTE/EST (candidate must be willing to work eastern time)
Duration: 4-6 months
Start date: Immediate
The ideal candidate brings deep Zephyr RTOS expertise, strong low-level engineering skills, and experience building reliable, production-grade firmware systems that integrate cleanly with Windows-based applications and platform services.
This is a hands-on, system-level role-not pure hardware-requiring close collaboration across firmware, middleware, and UI teams.
Key Responsibilities
Embedded Development & RTOS
- 10+ years of experience
- Design and develop embedded software using Zephyr RTOS
- Implement kernel-level constructs including threads, work queues, timers, and synchronization primitives
- Configure RTOS components to support deterministic system behavior and real-time telemetry execution
- Support STM32H5 and similar MCU-based platforms
