A well-established North Carolina firm is seeking an employment litigation associate to join its team in Durham. The role sits within a collaborative litigation group handling a mix of employment, business, and complex disputes, with significant federal court exposure.
The associate will work across all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation, with meaningful client interaction and responsibility from early on. The group emphasizes autonomy, hands-on experience, and practical case ownership.
Candidates should have at least three years of on-point litigation experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a team-oriented environment.
This is a collegial, no-jerk environment with a realistic billable target and strong bonus potential, along with mentorship and a flexible, partner-driven hybrid structure. NC law license required.
