Senior Accountants, we could use your help! Our client, a respected community-focused organization located in Vancouver, WA, is looking for a temporary Senior Accountant to step in and support their accounting team during a critical period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant who enjoys diving into the details, solving problems, and keeping things moving. The team is looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly, think critically, and operate with a high level of independence while partnering closely with leadership.

As the Senior Accountant, you would be responsible for:
* Reviewing and supporting general ledger activity
* Assisting with month-end close processes and journal entries
* Performing cash and account reconciliations
* Researching and resolving discrepancies and variances
* Reviewing accounting transactions and supporting documentation
* Assisting with financial reporting and analysis
* Supporting payroll-related accounting activities
* Working closely with leadership to improve processes and maintain accuracy
* Assisting with various accounting projects and ad hoc requests

To be considered for this role, you would need:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 4+ years of accounting experience
* Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience
* Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
* Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-changing environment
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:
* Government accounting experience
* Nonprofit or fund accounting experience
* Experience with Great Plains, Tyler Technologies, or similar ERP systems

Additional Details:
* Temporary assignment expected to last 6-9 months
* 100% onsite in Vancouver, WA
* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
* Business casual environment
* Free parking available and accessible by public transportation
