About the Team
This is a fast‑moving, in‑person startup that designs and builds complex systems end‑to‑end. The team works across engineering, operations, customer engagement, hiring, and internal company building, and relies on tight coordination to keep priorities aligned and execution running smoothly. As the organization grows, the need for structured follow‑through, clear communication, and strong operational support becomes increasingly important.
About the Role
The Chief of Staff will partner closely with senior leadership to ensure the company operates effectively day‑to‑day. This role is highly operational and focuses on driving cross‑functional execution, maintaining alignment across teams, coordinating key initiatives, and serving as a versatile operator wherever support is needed.
You’ll help ensure important work moves forward, relationships remain active, internal processes evolve as the team scales, and leadership stays focused on the highest‑impact priorities. This position is on‑site in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
Execution & Follow‑Through
- Drive cross‑functional follow‑through on company priorities.
- Coordinate internal and external initiatives across customers, operations, hiring, and leadership.
- Act as a general‑purpose operator to keep execution moving and unblock work.
Leadership Support
- Help leadership stay organized across multiple simultaneous workstreams.
- Track key relationships, meetings, deliverables, and next steps.
- Support coordination of demos, meetings, and other time‑sensitive operational needs.
Company Operations
- Improve onboarding, internal processes, and overall company operations.
- Represent leadership professionally in both internal and external interactions.
Work Environment & Schedule
- On‑site in San Francisco, CA
- Full‑time
- Compensation: $130K-$170K base salary, plus equity
Ideal Candidates Are
- Highly organized and execution‑oriented
- Skilled at managing many moving parts without losing detail
- Clear communicators with strong follow‑through
- Comfortable in ambiguous, high‑ownership environments
- Strong in judgment and able to represent leadership effectively
- Energized by fast‑moving, in‑person startup environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startup generalist roles, or prior Chief of Staff work
- Experience supporting founders or senior leadership
- Experience with recruiting coordination, onboarding, or customer operations
