Our client, a respected community health organization, is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to support a large portfolio of federally funded healthcare programs. This is an immediate need due to a recent departure and offers the opportunity to be considered for permanent employment.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage post-award administration for a portfolio of federal, state, county, and foundation grants
  • Monitor budgets, expenditures, forecasting, burn rates, and compliance requirements
  • Prepare financial and narrative reports for grantors
  • Partner with program leaders and clinic teams to gather reporting data and ensure timely deliverables
  • Maintain grant records, reporting calendars, and funding documentation
  • Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements
  • Work closely with Accounting to reconcile grant activity and monitor spending
  • Mentor and support other Grant Managers as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of grants management experience
  • Healthcare industry experience required
  • Strong post-award grants administration and compliance background
  • Experience with federal grants preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with leaders across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Management or mentorship experience
  • Sage Intacct experience
  • Experience with federal grant reporting portals
