Position Summary
Beacon Hill is seeking an Office Assistant to support daily office operations for a busy service-based organization. This role serves as the primary point of contact for incoming customer calls, service requests, dispatch coordination, and administrative support.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Answer high-volume inbound calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Take accurate messages and route information to the appropriate team members
- Gather customer information and service request details
- Schedule and dispatch service calls to technicians
- Return customer calls and provide timely follow-up updates
- Monitor incoming messages and call notifications to ensure prompt response
- Manage customer communications and maintain accurate records
- Support daily administrative and office operations
- Coordinate with office staff and field technicians to ensure service needs are addressed
- Maintain organized documentation and customer records
- Prioritize urgent service requests while managing multiple responsibilities
- Assist with general office tasks as needed

Qualifications
- Previous office assistant, receptionist, customer service, dispatch, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accurate message-taking skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently after training
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to remain composed in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude
