Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
SeaTac, WA (100% On-Site) | ⏳ Temp-to-Hire
Looking for more than just another AP processing role? We’re partnering with a well-established Seattle organization seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of a high-volume AP function and become a key member of the accounting team.
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in office with the potential to convert to a permanent position. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in keeping processes running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full-cycle accounts payable process from invoice receipt through payment
- Process and review a high volume of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries
- Support month-end close activities, accruals, and AP reporting
- Assist with check runs, ACH, and wire payments
- Partner with internal departments to ensure timely approvals and proper coding
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
- Strong understanding of AP best practices and internal controls
- Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- ERP system experience and strong Excel skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
