Staff Accountant Opportunity- Contract-to-Hire- Salary up to 65K (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements and WIP reports
* Manage construction billing through systems such as Procore and Textura
* Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
* Prepare journal entries and job cost entries
* Process sales/use tax filings and support 1099 preparation
* Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and payment activity
* Support year-end audits and CPA review processes
* Assist with AP, billing, and project accounting functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
* 1+ years of accounting experience
* Construction industry experience preferred
* Experience with Excel and accounting software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude and strong communication skills
