A growing property management firm is seeking a highly detail-oriented Audit Consultant for a 2-4 week project to review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong property management accounting experience, be proficient in Yardi, and possess a keen eye for accuracy and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of accounting records and financial data within Yardi
- Reconcile accounts and identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual transactions
- Evaluate accounting procedures, controls, and reporting processes
- Provide recommendations to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Document findings and present a summary of areas for improvement to leadership
Qualifications:
- Previous audit, accounting, or financial review experience
- Property management industry experience required
- Strong proficiency with Yardi
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and complete the project within a short timeline
This is a fully on-site, project-based opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys identifying issues, improving processes, and ensuring financial accuracy.
