Vice President of Human Resources
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a strategic and transformational Vice President of Human Resources to build and lead an enterprise-wide HR function supporting a growing portfolio of manufacturing businesses. This newly elevated leadership role will work closely with executive leadership to develop the people strategies, organizational infrastructure, and leadership capabilities required to support continued growth, operational excellence, and future acquisitions.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior HR leader who enjoys building from the ground up. The successful candidate will establish scalable HR programs, align HR practices across multiple operating companies, and create a high-performing people strategy that supports long-term business objectives.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Hybrid Schedule: 1 day per week onsite at the company’s Le Sueur, MN facility and 4 days per week remote
- Approximately 25% travel required to support multiple business locations
Compensation
- $130,000 – $170,000 base salary, depending on previous exp.
- Full-time, Direct Hire opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and long-term business growth.
- Create consistency across multiple locations by standardizing HR policies, programs, and best practices.
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, succession planning, and talent strategy.
- Lead initiatives focused on talent acquisition, employee retention, engagement, and leadership development.
- Design scalable HR systems, processes, and governance frameworks to support a growing organization.
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and organizational change efforts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives by providing coaching and strategic HR guidance.
- Establish performance management, talent assessment, and succession planning processes.
- Drive compensation strategies, leadership development initiatives, and talent review programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Collaborate with existing HR resources across locations while developing a unified enterprise-wide HR function.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site manufacturing organizations.
- Proven success leading HR transformation efforts or building HR functions from the ground up.
- Strong expertise in organizational development, workforce planning, and change management.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations.
- Ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic business initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of talent management, employee relations, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced degree and/or SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
