Scheduler Supervisor

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler Supervisor to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position is responsible for coordinating donor collection appointments, partnering with internal specialists and healthcare facilities, and ensuring scheduling activities support critical patient care timelines. The ideal candidate brings strong critical thinking skills, exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Position Details

  • Location: Minneapolis, MN
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days remote, 1 day onsite per week)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM CT or 9:30 AM-6:30 PM CT
  • Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
  • Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate donor collection appointments while meeting established service standards and patient-related timelines.
  • Work closely with internal specialists and external collection facilities to secure appointment availability and finalize scheduling details.
  • Communicate scheduling updates, confirmations, and changes to all appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Handle a high volume of scheduling requests, balancing competing priorities and resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare collection partners to support effective collaboration.
  • Track scheduling activities, documentation, and communications using various business systems and tools.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to address barriers, overcome scheduling obstacles, and support successful outcomes.
  • Ensure all appointment logistics are organized accurately and completed within required deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Prior scheduling or coordination experience, preferably within a healthcare or clinical environment.
  • Knowledge of collection center, apheresis, transplant, or related healthcare operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external partners.
